Mark Leimer
Director &
Barbershopper
of the Year 2004

Born in Fort Wayne Indiana. Married to his lovely wife Terri. Together they have 2 children Andrew and Angela. Mark fell head over heels in love with Barbershop Harmony and the Summit City Chorus back in 1982. Since then he has sung in many quartets in shows and contests in Indiana, Ohio and Michigan. He sang bass in a Cardinal District Medalist Quartet in 1989 called "The Summit Club". Mark has directed the Decatur Indiana Chorus and the Flint Arrow Head Chorus in Michigan. Since taking over as Director of the Summit City Chorus things have gotten very exciting. A new attitude in performing has taken place. With a TEAM attitude the Chorus has earned the title of "The 2003 Cardinal District Champions". Mark is very proud of what the chorus has accomplished and is very excited about the future.
